Nicholas Ling

Nicholas has extensive experience in the design and delivery of large scale private and institutional / public buildings. He has demonstrated ability in managing and engaging complex stakeholder groups and multidisciplinary project teams across various procurement platforms. Prior to founding Konzepte, Nicholas led the delivery of public projects with a combined value of over $1b in Australia, including the recently completed $1.4b Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in Brisbane.
Nicholas’s researched based, critical design approach brings to projects a focus on evidence informed solutions and lateral design thinking. He is committed to ensuring built outcomes add value to all stakeholders involved- the client, the users, the greater community.
Nicholas currently leads the Melbourne office and heads up design research at Konzepte. Before returning to Kuala Lumpur, he sat on the board of a private museum in Melbourne and contributed to the Undergraduate and Masters program at RMIT University.
